What is Soda Blasting?

Soda blasting is an advanced surface removal / cleaning or restoration technique that is not harmful to our environment. This advanced method of removing / cleaning and restoration uses food grade baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) as blasting media. 

How does Soda Blasting work?

Compressed air from a specialist soda blasting machine propels the baking soda against the surface to remove any containments or coating in a non abrasive manner. Unlike other blasting alternatives when the Sodium Bicarbonate contacts the surface it does not generate heat therefore eliminating the risk of damage, pitting or warping.

Why use Soda Blasting? 

Other blasting techniques can be very damaging to the substrate surface because it will stress-relieve the metal surface, causing it to bend or warp. Other normal stripping techniques require sanders and grinders to remove paint from the surface. These methods usually require days to completely prepare, strip and clean. With Soda blasting your project can be done in a matter of hours not months leaving you plenty of time for the fun parts. Soda blasting takes the "Hard Work" out of "Hard Work".

Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda); a non-toxic, non hazardous food grade material that is 100% water soluble and an environmentally friendly product.
